ABOUT

Hello and Welcome!
I'm Meg. I'm a registered Speech-Language Pathologist and mom of three little ones in Ontario, Canada. I have long had a passion for paediatric speech and language but it wasn't until I became a parent of a late talker (more about this on the Blog), that my passion for this unique population was truly ignited. I was quickly reminded that the gap in the literature on children who are late-to-talk still prevailed and I had so many questions that simply could not be answered to my satisfaction. This experience inspired me to go back to graduate school to complete my Ph.D. I am now a Ph.D. candidate conducting research on children who are late-to-talk and their families. I started Late Talker as a means of sharing information and resources with parents and therapists working with children who are late-to-talk. We are still learning so much about this group and it is my hope to contribute to this knowledge base and to support parents and healthcare professionals in the process.
Thank you so much for being here!
